We are excited to announce that the Durham Children’s Aid Society, Durham Children’s Aid Foundation, Durham Regional Police Service, Durham District School Board and the Regional Municipality of Durham are hosting Youth Pride Durham 2022 on June 4, 2022, 1-3pm, outdoor at the Durham Regional Headquarters in Whitby. The committee planning this event is made up of many community agencies including Durham Pride, Durham CAS, Durham Children’s Aid Foundation, DDSB, DRPS, PFLAG Durham and the Regional Municipality of Durham. This event will include exciting entertainment with very talented drag queen performers and other musical guests. There will be food and water available, popcorn and cotton candy booths, photo booths and activities at many booths managed by various community agencies... and more! It is a truly fun event focused on sending the message to children, youth and families in the 2SLGBTQI community and allies that they are accepted and supported.
