Types of Year Round volunteers
Board of Directors.
Our organization is governed by dedicated volunteers.
Each serves a two (2) year team in one of the following positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary.
Subcommittee Volunteer
All of our operations and programs are carried out by members of our subcommittees.
We have options for those who are interested in a leadership role and those who are interested in supporting.

Pride Durham is committed to reducing barriers. We’ll have a Zoom interview with you one-on-one to hear about your interest in volunteering. We’ve got some amazing people at Pride Durham and are always looking for more! We are passionate about this work, so our interview process is an important step in determining which role will align best with your personality, interests, behaviors.
Here are a few things that we look for in a volunteer:
1) Skill set - What areas you thrive in
2) Teamwork - How well you work with others
3) Scheduling - Being able to keep up with your unique workload
4) Passion - Why you chose us to be your new volunteer opportunity
