All of our operations and programs are carried out by members of our subcommittees.

We have options for those who are interested in a leadership role and those who are interested in supporting.

Sub-Committees

Logistics Subcommittee

  •  Responsible for event planning and logistics.

  •    Coordinates venue selection, permits, and scheduling.

  •    Manages vendor and exhibitor applications.

  •    Oversees transportation and parking arrangements.

Marketing and Promotion Subcommittee

  •    Develop marketing strategies to promote Pride events.

  •    Manages social media campaigns and advertising.

  •    Designs promotional materials and merchandise.

  •    Coordinates with local media for coverage.

Entertainment Subcommittee

  •  Curates the entertainment lineup for Pride events.

  •    Books performers, DJs, and speakers.

  •    Organizes stage and sound equipment.

  •    Ensures a diverse and inclusive entertainment program.

 Volunteer and Outreach Subcommittee

  •   Recruits and manages event volunteers.

  •   Organizes volunteer training and schedules.

  •   Collaborates with local organizations for support.

  •   Conducts outreach to engage the community.

Safety and Security Subcommittee

  •   Develops safety protocols and plans.

  •    Coordinates with local law enforcement and security teams.

  •    Manages first aid and medical services.

  •    Monitors crowd control and safety measures.

Accessibility and Inclusivity Subcommittee

  •    Ensures that Pride events are accessible to all.

  •    Coordinates ASL interpreters and accessible facilities.

  •    Provides information for attendees with disabilities.

  •    Promotes an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

Food and Beverage Subcommittee

  •    Organizes food vendors and concessions.

  •    Manages beverage service and alcohol permits.

  •    Coordinates with local food trucks and caterers.

  •    Ensures a variety of dietary options.

Sponsorship and Fundraising Subcommittee

  •       Secures sponsorships from local businesses and organizations.

  •    Manages fundraising campaigns and donation efforts.

  •    Maintains relationships with sponsors.

  •    Tracks and reports financial data.

 Family and Youth Subcommittee

  • Organizes family-friendly and youth-oriented activities.

  •    Coordinates a kids' zone with games and entertainment.

  •    Provides information and resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families.

Merchandise and Merchandising Subcommittee

  •   Designs and sells Pride merchandise.

  •    Manages merchandise booths at events.

Environmental Sustainability Subcommittee

  •  Focuses on eco-friendly practices for Pride events.

  •    Coordinates recycling and waste management.
